Police official found dead

Agartala December 1: A policeman died after being shot by a service rifle. He was the duty habildar at the judge's residence in Bilonia. It is known that the deceased Habildar's name is Jaideep Das (59). On Thursday afternoon, he attempted suicide by firing two rounds from his own gun. On hearing the loud sound of gunshots, the workers including Habildar Jaideep Das came running.

Firefighters were informed. The firemen took Jaideep Das, who was seriously injured, to the Belonia Sub-Divisional Hospital. From there he was referred to Shantir Bazar Hospital. But Shantirbazar Hospital was referred to GB Hospital. As usual, GB was brought to the hospital and declared dead by the doctor on duty. It is known that before the suicide attempt, he posted a video on social media and gave a message. In that video message, he called on all his friends to protest with the names of his wife and son. However, it is not clear what exactly he called for protest.
