Prime Minister Narendra Modi Inaugurates Key Educational Projects Across India

Agartala, February 20,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated a series of significant educational initiatives today, reinforcing the government’s commitment to holistic development. The projects span diverse domains, including infrastructure, skill development, and higher education.

The Eklavya campus in Tripura, comprising an academic building, administrative facilities, library block, and hostels for both boys and girls, took center stage during the virtual ceremony. The event also witnessed the laying of foundation stones for 25 Kendriya Vidyalayas, 19 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, 12 Central Universities, 10 IITs, 3 IIMs, 4 NITs, and 2 Skill Development Institutes across the country.

Notably, the infrastructural enhancements at the Central Sanskrit University and Maharaja Bir Bikram University in Tripura underscore the government’s commitment to accessible education. Additionally, the establishment of a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya project in the Sepahijala district aims to empower students in the region.

Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the need for modernizing the education system. These initiatives, spread across various states, aim to foster education, industry, communication networks, and employment opportunities. The establishment of IITs, Triple ITs, and medical colleges in different states accelerates progress in higher education, ensuring that students nationwide can forge ahead swiftly in their academic pursuits.
