Self-employment training for farmers on piggery at RSETI

That there is a scope for employment through proper training is known to all. A total of thirty four rural youth from Sepahijala and Gomati District have attended in the training programme organised at Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), DRDA Complex of Udaipur by Punjab National Bank (PNB) and the ten days long training programme to be concluded on June 10 next.
Many good veterinary doctors are necessary in Tripura for the benefit of farmers because the animal husbandry activities are not as like as traditional activities of village people. The concept of profit is now associated with animal husbandry activities owing to some technological adaptation and new technology transformation in this sector for the benefit of profit. As there is new technology in animal husbandry, the farmers are getting training on that from different government sponsored schemes.
As the concept of economics is now important for economic production, the theory of production is also important to know with proper knowledge from efficient economists. Among four factors of production, labour and capital are two important factors for production. There are different government sponsored schemes like KCC, PMEGP and other government loan facilities for the benefit of farmers, but the farmers are needed to make proper detailed progress reports in respect of this matter for loan facilities from banks.
The business plan and entrepreneurship development are important parts for business. The method and process for making business plans were discussed by Kiran Bhowmik, PhD Scholar of Economics Department of Tripura University in the training programme on Sunday last.
In accordance with the opinion of farmers that there is huge demand for meat and the piggery is also an important business under the farming system. The government is the main key in order to solve different types of problems faced by farmers like lack of piglets, lack of vaccine, shortage of veterinary officers, problem of doorstep workers and capital shortage
