Sushanta held meeting with Sub-Divisional Rulers

Agartala June 2: Minister Sushant Chowdhury held a meeting with the Sub-Divisional Governors and Food Department officials of the eight districts of the state at the conference hall of the Secretariat on Friday afternoon. The main objective of the meeting is to strengthen the public distribution system.

From the high-ranking officials present in the video conference, he learned about the stock of various food items in detail and instructed the officials of the food department to keep stocks in the warehouses of the food department in accordance with the demand according to the requirements of the officials. Besides, he directed the officials to regularly monitor the markets on the ground to keep the price of daily necessities at a stable and bearable level. The video conference was attended by Additional Director of Food and Public Procurement Department Animesh Debbarma, Deputy Director Abhijit Biswas, Subrata Majumder and Sub-Divisional Administrators of various sub-divisions.
