Agartala: Mar 07: The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has taken a significant step to address unemployment among tribal youth in the state. They've signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Japanese organization to provide tribal nursing students with job opportunities in Japan ¹.
This initiative aims to create a brighter future for the tribal community by offering employment and a pathway to a better livelihood. The program will provide training in nursing and the Japanese language, with those completing the program eligible to apply for jobs in Japan with salaries of up to ₹2 lakh per month.
Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, former Tipra Motha supremo and Member of the District Council, emphasized that this initiative is a response to the growing unemployment problem in the state. He encouraged tribal youth to take advantage of the program, noting that proficiency in Japanese is mandatory for securing jobs in Japan.
This MoU marks a crucial step in addressing unemployment and skill development, offering tribal students international experience and improved financial prospects. It also strengthens the ADC's commitment to the overall development and well-being of tribal communities in the state.
