6 Sudip and Papia submitted their nomination papers for Agartala assembly constituency

6 Agartala Assembly Constituency is one of the most important constituencies in the upcoming Thirteenth Assembly Elections. BJP has had to struggle a lot to field candidates in this constituency. Because the main rival from the Congress side is Sudeep Roy Barman, a long-time leader of the area and a multiple-time MLA. Heavy weight leader Sudip Roy Barman is going to fight again for the Congress from the seat of this assembly in the upcoming elections. So, after much speculation, the party announced the name of BJP general secretary Papiya Dutt on Sunday.

He will compete against long-time heavyweight leader Sudip Roy Burman. But like the previous days, using the confidence of the people, Sudip Roy Burman is going to fight from the area. Go to the Returning Officer to submit your nomination papers on Monday, the last day of nomination papers. Sudip Roy Barman organized a procession before approaching the Returning Officer that day. Then he went to the District Magistrate's office and submitted nomination papers to the Returning Officer Tarit Chakma. Later, Sudeep Roy Barman along with his followers faced the media and said that the Congress is going to fight in 16 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. There has been an agreement on seats with the Left Front. But the Congress did not have any alliance with the Left Front. Congress' seat alliance with the Left Front will continue in the upcoming elections. Mr. Burman hoped that the people of the state would understand the current situation and take the right decision on February 16 to give them democratic rights.

Meanwhile, BJP nominee Papiya Dutta took out a rally before filing his nomination papers. Later, facing the media, he expressed his hope for victory. He also said that he witnessed unbridled joy among officials after becoming a candidate. That euphoria boosted morale. Therefore, he claimed that victory is certain from the area. However, this assembly constituency is the bird's eye out of the 60 seats in the state. The most important thing is to see whether Sudip Roy Burman is able to retain his victory like the previous days or whether he is able to wrest the Padma Shibir seat from Sudip Roy Burman.
