Agartala: Jan 30: A troubling incident has occurred at the Indian Bank branch on Agartala’s Hariganga Basak Road, leaving a woman, Anima Debnath, devastated. The resident of Ranirbazar had made a fixed deposit of Rs. 1 lakh a year ago, only to discover that the money had disappeared without her knowledge. Anima had been attempting to withdraw the funds over the past few days, but when she visited the bank today, she was informed that the amount had been withdrawn a month after the fixed deposit was made.

The shocking part of the story is that Anima Debnath claims she had no knowledge of the withdrawal and denies authorizing any such transaction. Upon inquiring further, she received vague explanations from the bank, but the authorities could not provide any clear answers regarding how the withdrawal took place without her consent.

The bank's reluctance to speak about the incident and offer any substantial explanation has only deepened the mystery and raised concerns about possible negligence or misconduct. Anima, now deeply distressed, has vowed to take legal action by filing a formal complaint with the police station. The case has raised serious questions about the security and transparency of banking transactions, and authorities are expected to investigate the matter thoroughly to uncover the truth behind the unauthorized withdrawal.
