Agartala: Dec 27: This state used to receive money for the development of scheduled caste people. But unfortunately the matter disappeared before the payment was made. Those for whom it was brought were deprived of it. Correctional facilities have been built with development funds for SCs.

 There is a separate office for this. Still, minister Bhagwan Chandra Das questioned why correctional facilities were constructed with SCs' development funds. He said this while inaugurating the distribution and loan program of bicycles and weighing machines among the beneficiaries belonging to the SC community at the Town Hall on Tuesday. Tripura SC Co-operative Development Corporation Limited Chairman MLA Ranjit Das, Mayor Deepak Majumder and others were present in the event.
