Bomb rescued

On Tuesday miscreants hurled a bomb at the house of Tipra Matha leader Nirod Debbarma in Khundamura area under Jirania police station. Seeing this bomb in front of the house, the leader's family informed the police of Jiraniya police station. The police went to the spot and recovered the bomb by soaking it in a bucket of water. Police said the bomb was recovered. However, an investigation has been started as to who threw the bomb. The incident caused widespread panic. MDC Ganesh Debvarma rushed to get the news. He strongly condemned this incident. He demanded strict punishment against the culprits. Paramilitary forces have been deployed in the area.
