Central Sanskrit University's Ekalavya Campus hosted a seven-day workshop

Agartala: Feb 19: Central Sanskrit University's Ekalavya Campus hosted a seven-day workshop on the integration of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) with the modern education system from February 17th to 21st, 2025. The workshop aimed to explore ways of blending traditional knowledge with contemporary educational practices to enhance the learning experience. The opening ceremony, held on February 17th, was graced by prominent figures from the academic and educational fields.
Dr. Haradhan Saha, the Honorable Principal of Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya (Mohanpur), was the chief guest at the event. In his keynote address, Dr. Saha emphasized the importance of integrating IKS into modern education, stating that such an approach could help create a more holistic and circular learning experience for students. He stressed that this integration would not only foster a deeper understanding of students' cultural heritage but also contribute to their overall academic and personal growth. His speech highlighted the significance of revisiting and incorporating ancient wisdom into today's fast-evolving educational landscape.
BPM Srinivas attended the event as the honorary guest, while Professor Avdhesh Kumar Choubey, Acting Director of the Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus, Tripura, presided over the inaugural session.
