Tripura CM met Union Education Minister in Delhi

Agartala: Feb 19: Tripura's educational infrastructure is set to receive a significant boost following a meeting between Hon'ble Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha and Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi. The discussion focused on key initiatives to enhance educational opportunities and institutions in Tripura.
One of the major topics of discussion was the development of Vidya Jyoti Schools, which are part of an initiative to improve the quality of primary and secondary education in the region. The Chief Minister and the Union Minister explored ways to expand and strengthen these schools to ensure they offer a more robust and comprehensive education to students across Tripura. The goal is to provide a high standard of education from an early stage, laying a solid foundation for future academic success.
Additionally, the two leaders deliberated on the proposal to upgrade the Women’s College in Tripura into a Women’s University. Similarly, discussions were held regarding the elevation of the Tripura Institute of Technology to a Technical University, a step intended to foster innovation and research in technical education and boost the employability of graduates.
