Agartala: Feb 20: The Tripura Pradesh Congress Seva Dal held a state conference at the Rajarshi Hall in Udaipur, where prominent leaders like Lalji Desai, Sudip Roy Barman, and Ashish Kumar Saha attended. The event began with the hoisting of the Seva Dal flag, followed by a procession and the formal inauguration with the lighting of the lamp.

During the conference, MLA Sudip Roy Barman criticized the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing the BJP of surviving only because of the support of business tycoons like Adani and Ambani. He also claimed that the BJP was manipulating the electoral process and falsely claiming a people's mandate.

Barman highlighted the implementation of crucial laws regarding education, health, food, and the Right to Information during the tenure of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He also made serious allegations against the Modi government, including inaction on the 4,000 square kilometers of land occupied by China and silence on significant issues like the incident involving Indian citizens allegedly being chained by American forces.

Furthermore, Barman denounced the BJP's ideology, stating that it could weaken the country and lead to internal conflicts. He expressed concerns about the destruction of religious institutions and the rise of communal violence under the BJP's leadership, emphasizing that the party does not respect the Constitution or India's founding leaders .
