The state's tea industry is now being nurtured with the aim of transforming it into a major contributor to Tripura's economy. However, to achieve this ambitious goal, the government requires the support of investors, as they will play a crucial role in the industry's growth.

Among the key participants at the event were Samir Ghosh, Chairman of the Tripura Tea Development Corporation, and Managing Director Manik Lal Das. Representatives from the Indian Tea Association and Indian Auction Association, who are integral to the country's tea industry, also attended the meet. Their involvement underlined the national significance of Tripura's tea sector and the growing interest in its future. The meet served as a platform for fostering relationships between tea buyers and sellers, creating opportunities for the state to showcase its tea potential on a larger scale.
