Tripura Ganamukti Parisad (GM), tribal wing of the CPI(M) is set to give a deputation to Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on key issues of the tribal welfare, said a senior leader on Sunday. While addressing a press conference, GMP general secretary Radhacharan Debbarma said the organization as part of the decision taken at the Adivasi Adhikar Rashtriya Manch will organise an agitational programme on January 11 and submit a memorandum to the Governor on the issues pertaining to tribals.“We want the BJP led NDA government to pass the 125th Constitution amendment bill at the earliest as the Bill is pending for several years. Since, Tipra Motha joined the BJP led coalition government, there shall be no problem in passing the much awaited bill”, he said.Debbarma also accused Tipra Motha of turning the Tribal Autonomous Council into a den of corruption.“There has been no elected body at the village committees since 2021. In absence of elected bodies, leaders of Tipra Motha and its associates are eating up funds meant for development work. We want the BJP led government to hold elections to the village committee as early as possible”, he said.“On January 11, we will organise a programme and later will submit a memorandum highlighting the interest of tribal people”, he added
