Agartala, March 10: Chief Minister today distributed offices among the cabinet members in Tripura. He made a major reshuffle in the portfolios of the old ministers in the distribution of portfolios among the new cabinet members. Chief Secretary JK Sinha has issued a notification for allotment of that office. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has retained the charge of all other devolved departments including Home, Health, Education, Works, Urban Development, Rural Development and Information and Culture.

Apart from this, Ratan Lal Nath has been given charge of Electricity, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Election Department. In the last cabinet, he was in charge of Education, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Law and Parliamentary Affairs. In the new cabinet, Pranajit Singh Roy has been given charge of finance, planning and information technology departments. In the last cabinet, he handled the responsibilities of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Transport and Tourism.

Sushanta Chowdhury has been given charge of food, public procurement and consumer affairs and transport and tourism department. In the last cabinet, he was in charge of Information and Culture, Drinking Water and Health Provision and Youth and Sports Affairs. Santana Chakma has been given charge of industries and commerce, prisons and OBC welfare departments by the Chief Minister. In the last cabinet, he was in charge of Social Welfare and Social Education, Industries and Commerce and Urban Development Departments.

Meanwhile, Tinku Roy Youth and Sports Affairs, Social Welfare and Social Education and Labor Department, Bikas Debbarma Population Welfare, Handicrafts, Handicrafts and Horticulture and Statistics Department, Sudhanshu Das Tapashili Population Welfare, Livestock Development and Mats and Shukla Charan Noyatia Cooperative, Population Welfare (TRP and PTG) and got charge of Minority Welfare Department.
