Pradyot's regional party Tipra Matha is going to contest the upcoming assembly elections with the claim of Greater Tipraland. On Monday, the last day of filing nomination papers, the nominated candidate of Tipra Matha of Mandai Assembly Constituency No. 11 Swapna Debvarma submitted her nomination papers. A procession was led by party supremo Pradyot Kishore Devavarman and the nominated candidates went to the Jiraniya Sub-Divisional Ruler's office to file their nomination papers.

Later, Pradyut Kishore Devavarman said that it is not a big issue whether Tipra Matha will win the upcoming assembly elections, it is a big issue that Tipra Matha's nominated candidate will win by how many votes. And he told the workers even today that Tipra will fight for constitutional rights if the government is formed. Development will happen automatically if constitutional rights are realised. And if this right is real, development will be sure. Besides targeting the national political parties, he said that his party has not moved an inch from its demands. So the national parties did not get a chance to discuss the development. However, this multi-pronged fight is giving different messages in the face of the polls, it is becoming clear again and again. All political parties are ready to fight inch by inch.
