Cleaning workers at Shantir Bazar District Hospital on indefinite strike. Sanitation workers went on indefinite strike at Shantir Bazar District Hospital from Wednesday morning to demand proper salary. Sanitation workers are constantly working to keep Shantir Bazar District Hospital clean.

At present there are 25 sanitation workers in the district hospital. They complain that KDS company is not paying their salary for almost two and a half months. The cleaners said they have been working in the district hospital for the past many years. They still don't know exactly what their monthly salary is. They told the media that they will strike until their demands are not accepted. What is to be seen now is what steps are taken to meet the demands of the cleaners.
