Tipra Motha party workers attacked BJP's victory rally in Ampinagar Assembly constituency on Saturday. Ampinagar winning candidate Patal Kanya Jamatia visited the injured BJP workers on Sunday. Amarpur MLA Ranjit Das, Minister Bikas Debbarma and other leaders were also present. Ampi visited the health center and took a physical examination of them. Later, winning candidate Patal Kanya faced the media and said that after the victory of BJP and IPFT in the recently concluded assembly elections, victory marches are being organized across the state. As part of this, when a victory procession was organized in Ampinagar on Saturday, miscreants from Tipra Motha attacked with illegal weapons. 11 people were injured in the incident. Five-six of them are in critical condition. The doctor referred 4 of them to GB Hospital. He also said that after the incident on Saturday, many injured BJP workers went home due to lack of security in the hospital. He said that if the condition of any of them is critical, efforts are being made to identify them and provide treatment. But currently the situation in the area is under the control of the administration. Police and paramilitary forces are deployed.
