Agartala: Feb 17: The Traffic Department has launched a joint operation to keep the GB market congestion-free. The enforcement team conducted an operation today, led by Traffic Officer Sudhambika R. Notices have been sent to vehicle owners for illegally parking their vehicles, and legal action will be taken against them.

Traffic Officer Sudhambika R stated that people are parking their vehicles, including motorbikes and scooters, indiscriminately in the GB market area, causing traffic jams. She emphasized that the operation is primarily aimed at keeping the market area free from congestion.

She further mentioned that warnings have been issued to people against parking cars and bikes illegally on the streets. Notices have been sent to the vehicle owners, and legal action will follow. Additional SP Sudhambika R assured that such operations will continue in the coming days to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
