TU’s students learned a lot with enjoyment in ANUBHUTI

 The four-day-long Tripura University Hostel Week ended on 11th of May at 06 pm. The Ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) G P Prasain, Honourable V. C., Tripura University, respected P. B. Das, Chief General Manager and the Chief Guest of the occasion, respected Prof. (Dr.) Prasanta Das, HOD, Department of Physical Education, Tripura University, and Guest of Honour, Dr. Sudip Das, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, Tripura University and Guest of Honour, Special Guest Prof. (Dr.) R K Mahapatra and Debasish Acharjee, Organizing Secretary, Anubhuti 2023. 

The Hon'ble V.C. of the University has unanimously lauded that the festival has been a grand success. Competitions were held across four broad event categories viz. Games and Sports, Cultural and Literary Activities and a Food Fest. 108 gold, 108 silver and 18 bronze medals were distributed, including 25 mementoes for cultural events. Prizes were distributed to all the winners of different events. Moreover, a Certificate of Honour was also distributed to each of them.

The Organizing Committee consisted of a Core Committee and a Conveners Committee. The members of the Core Committee consist of SM Farooque, President; Debasish Acharjee, Organizing Secretary; Sandipa Dey, Vice President; Ashutosh Kr. Tiwari, Finance Secretary and Anita Bhera, Joint Finance Secretary, respectively. The Conveners Committee consists of ten Conveners whom Volunteers assisted.

Kiran Bhowmik, Scholar, Department of Economics, Tripura University, is responsible for media and news information. The festival ended with a colourful Musical Night performed by a popular musical group from Tripura. 

This four-day festival had sponsors from ONGC, OTCP, ICICI Bank, Badharghat Branch and Taksh Printers and Publishers, Agartala.
