Agartala: Feb 17: A violent clash broke out between two beauty parlors in the Aytorma Building of the capital on Monday morning, leaving two people seriously injured. The incident occurred after a new beauty parlor was inaugurated on the second floor, sparking a rivalry with the existing parlor.

 

According to reports, the owner and employees of the old beauty parlor took issue with birthday party flowers from the new parlor being left on the stairs. This led to a heated argument, which eventually turned physical. Two young women, a woman, and a young man allegedly attacked the owner of the old parlor, Bijoy Poddar, and his shop worker.

 

The police from West Agartala Women's Police Station intervened, detaining two young women and a woman, along with a young man. They also rescued a young man named Sagar Sarkar from the scene. Although no complaints have been filed, the police are prepared to investigate the matter if a case is filed. This incident has caused significant unrest in the area.
