Agartala: Feb 22: The Youth Tripura Federation (YTF), the youth wing of the Tipra Matha, is set to undergo a significant revamp at its upcoming plenary session on February 27-28, to be held at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan. The session will involve grassroots-level changes and the reorganization of leadership within the organization. This move aims to strengthen the youth movement and address various key issues, including the demand for Greater Tipraland.

Around 2000 young men and women are expected to participate in the event, with notable leaders such as Tipra Matha Supreme Pradyut Kishore Deb Barman, President Vijay Kumar Rankhal, and several Tipra Matha ministers attending as special guests. The session will focus on intensifying the fight for a constitutional solution for Greater Tipraland, the adoption of Roman script for the Kokborok language, and the passage of several important bills by the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).

YTF leaders emphasized that the plenary session will be a platform for in-depth discussions and analyses of these pressing issues. Additionally, it is anticipated that leadership changes within the organization will be made to bolster its effectiveness in advancing these demands. The overall goal is to amplify the movement and secure the rights and recognition of indigenous communities in the state, with a particular focus on the youth.
