Flood Victim Fingered To Panchayat For Mismanagement.

     Ampi, 16th of April 2025.       
A flood victim namely Mrs. Banati Kalai of Uttar Tuidu Ram Babu Para under Tuidu PS in Ampi Nagar block, Gomati Tripura has raised allegation over the Uttar Tuidu panchayat office authority for official mismanagement and depriving her in getting flood compensation government amenity. As per the report, during devastating flood in last year this family was a worse victim; house was collapsed and other household articles have been damaged. As per the government disaster compensation provision many victim families have availed government compensation amenity but this woman has been neglected due to panchayat official mismanagement. She has raised strong allegation over the Uttar Tuidu panchayat authority for being indifference over essential works and ignoring her to attain flood victim compensation amount from the government. On asking her over the issue she said, "I have submitted my application for the flood victim financial assistance on 27/08/2024 and was verified by Uttar Taidu Panchayat on 29/08/2024. Later on the panchayat did not take any initiative to make it needful and as a consequence till today I've received nothing. When I have visited BDO office they sent me to

the panchayat office again . When I have asked the panchayat authority over the issue they sent me back to
the BDO. No one is giving proper
information. On 28/11/2024, I
personally visited the SDM office in
Amarpur, but they said there is no
record of my application. Officials
are showing complete negligence
and wasting time playing games
instead of helping me." The victim family has demanded proper enquiry over the issue to gain her compensation.
